Since 1985: I got my BA from Boston University in Sociology, then my MA from Georgetown University in Arab Studies. I got married to Kamal Bezzat in 1996 and we have two daughters and I'm working on a teaching career at the moment (I spent several years at MIT doing administrative work). I've been teaching Arabic to adults for the last two years and I'll be teaching a course on Arab Muslim women at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education in January.

What I remember from High School: A lot of laughs and fun times and very little school work. I remember who the smart kids were and I remember who the beautiful people were and I remember who my friends were. I remember still believing the world was a good place then.
